Returning to Hawkes Bay was great, I grew up there.
I got to photograph near my own old stomping ground. Places where I got into mischief as a boy ...
This is the special thing about being a photographer ... the witnessing of people's lives, going places you might not actually go to, and then sometimes catching up on your own past.

Stephen and Penny got married at the River Room, Which is part of the Black Barn Winery. they had spectacular views over the Tuki Tuki River ... and it was unbearably hot!!!!
