Ida is beautiful there is doubt about that, she will be the most beautiful thing that has ever happened.
Life will have such a whole new meaning...and the love you will feel for her ...there are never enough words to describe that feeling. So unconditional and pure...

She is absolutely exquisite...we can only pray that ours will be as perfect as Ida Valentina...beautiful beautiful name, we wouldn't have expected anything less from a couple with such style and taste. Johannes your first photographs are nothing less than perfect, I will have to train Andy up well to capture our wee mite when it ventures into the world in December...else I will be sending for you (and Jo & Ida too of course!!!) you know you are always welcome to come and stay whenever you want to visit France. Hey Jo and Johannes, Both Mike and myself are truly happy for you both. On the day of Ida's birth I made a landscape...we were traveling back from Mount Cook to Queenstown , driving through the Lindis Pass. We stopped the car because there was a moment when the light around us.. just started to glow. Snow covered the mountains and valleys, the temperature was 1 deg. I looked over to the side of the road to an area I had photographed on another trip...it's not really a coincidence that we stop the car in similar places...some places are better that others.Anyway, I fell in love with a small patch of ground, small stalks of winter grass and dried flowers were dancing in the snow..they said to me "Ida has arrived as so had winter". I love winter. I have printed that image for Ida, Mike is on his way to Christchurch today to deliver it. Love Jackie and Mike
I have finally looked, I am, for one of the first times speechless!! Ida welcome little one complete with a smile no less for your introductory photo to the world from the lens of one pretty special photographer, you have done it again!!
