Dee and Mike were married on Saturday at the Isaac Theatre.
They wanted to have a party with their friends. They had fun and were happy to show their feelings. The venue was spectacular. We photographed in the hills and the wind was piercingly cold. The event had many personal moments that really made it a wonderful wedding to be a part of.
Dee and Michael fitted together so well and reminded me of the things I love about being a wedding photographer.

It was so cold up in the hilltops.

... so they kept each other warm ...

An absolute joy to be there.

Great Photo's as always
Hi Johannes. I'm always amazed at the moments you capture at your weddings, and in such a "fine art" style! A quick technical question: do you exclusively use the Leica M's for your images, or is there DSLR mixed in as well? Thanks.
Love the look and feel of the moments you capture! All Leica M or some DSLR thrown in?
Hi there Ken
I hate to have to break this to you Ken but these images were all created using My Canon 1D ... its a complicated story. The Leica feel might be years of using an M instilling in me a preference for a particular look to my imagery. In the days of film the differences were easier to pick up because there was less ability to mess with the captured information.
Cheers
Johannes
