We were lucky. We were really lucky that a speaking engagement in Adelaide kept us safe.
We cannot imagine the fears of the people who experienced the Earthquake. Now there is the cleanup and the reconstruction. As a business we seem to have survived okay. Full credit to the people 130 years ago who put the effort into creating a building of substance.
Ida's room had the most damage. We were thankful that she wasn't there for it.
Thank you to everybody who sent words of support. We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many friends who in spite of their own circumstances have stepped up to offer help.
